I was thinking of selling cricut cartridge (they are on the top 10 ebay list). does anyone know where I can get them cheap and resell them on ebay?

You can sign up with ProvoCraft to be a wholesaler, but frankly their wholesale prices are twice what you can already buy the cartridges for on ebay. There are LOTS of folks selling Cricut cartridges, so you want to be sure to research pricing, it is VERY competitive.

How about accessory items like Sure Cuts A Lot or Make The Cut? They sell well, there is a good market and you can purchase for true wholesale from the manufacturers.

I want to buy a cricut and was going to get the first model from Amazon for cheap but my friend is trying to pressure me into buying a package deal for the large cricut for 3 times the cost. I plan on using it to make cards and scrapbooking (I don’t go overboard with details). She’s telling me that I’m going to want to do this and that with it and regret my decision. I figure that if have the need to upgrade I can just sell it back on Bay or something.

So what is your take on it? Does the small cricut do what you need it to or did you regret it and wish you went for the upgrade?

Get the large one. You’ll be glad you did.

what is the best cricut electronic cutting machine? when i was at michael’s and jo-ann’s the other day i noticed that there are several different ones, but don’t really see a difference.

obviously the size is different, but will having the smaller one still allow me of having all the different cartridges avail, or am would i only be allowed to use some of them? i would only be using it for scrapbooking/card making, so i wouldn’t need to make huge banners.

so, do you think the smaller one (which is 200 cheaper) would be okay for me?

I want to buy the Cricut Gypsy, and as i’m currently on holiday in America it is obviously cheaper than buying it in england. All I want to know is that if I buy it here in America, will it still work when brought over to england? Will the cord that connects the Gypsy to the (English) Cricut still work properly? I’m looking to buy it soon, so any quick responses will be much appreciated. Only serious answers please.

I want a super cheap machine to make Vinyl cut letters really small so i can use the letters on my custom line of guitars and basses. something like the cricut but way cheaper like 50 bucks or less

You might be able to get a Sizzix for less than $50. There’s one called a Sidekick that makes pretty small letters. You have to run them through the thing — it looks kind of like a pasta maker — a few times when they’re little and I’m not sure how well it would work on vinyl. Are there any scrapbook stores where you live? Most of the ones around me have various tools you can use for about $1 an hour. You could bring a piece of vinyl and try one out. I think the price of a Sizzix is about $50, but you can get a 40% coupon for Michael’s craft store or Hobby Lobby out of the paper about every other week. That’s how I bought mine.

The Cricut will definitely do what you want, but the cheapest one is probably about $150 now. The blades and the pads wear out pretty fast, faster than I expected. They even sell vinyl especially made for their machines. Take a look at the website for Custom Crops. They had the best prices on Cricuts. You can see the Sizzix on their website, but don’t buy anything from them unless it’s on sale or you just can’t get it anywhere else.

Wal-Mart just started carrying the Cricut and cartridges. The cartridges are about $59.00 a piece.
Ebay also has them fairly inexpensive.
Another idea…on the Cricut website on message boards they have people listing used cartridges for sale.
Also, I would call your local scrapbook stores and see if they have cartridge rentals, most of them do.
If you don’t want to invest that much for a font you may not use often, most local scrapbook stores have the Cricut and other die cut machines that you can go in and use free of charge, but show the owners how much you appreciate the use of their equiptment and make a small purchase.
