Im thinking of buying one, but am not sure which is the best all rounder.
You would need someone who has both machines to answer this question. Given the price they are this is unlikely.
My shop sells the Silhouette because we already do the other Quickutz machines and it looked good when we saw it demonstrated at a trade show. We have not had any complaints yet. If you use a lot of alphabet letters or numbers the Silhouette is good value as alphabet die sets for the manual machines can cost from £60 to £150 each just for one font (typestyle) in one size. The Silhouette can cut any font on your computer (and there are thousands more you can download) in any size and colour you want and can also cut clip art as well as the dedicated downloads you can buy.
